The person booking/checking into the room acknowledges and agrees that these conditions apply and extend to any person occupying or visiting Aristotles North Shore Motel and/or using the facilities in the complex at the invitation of or with authority of the Guest. Guests agree to pay all charges incurred by them and their visitors during their stay including any fees or charges incurred as a result of a breach of the terms and conditions below.
A booking that has three (3) rooms and more is classed as a group booking and different terms and conditions apply.
Bookings: All bookings made in person or over the phone require a valid credit card number and expiry to confirm the reservation. These details are held for security purposes on file and we do not charge until arrival.
Cancellation of a reservation within 48 hours of the check-in date and time (ie. from 2pm, 2 days prior to check-in date) will incur 100% cancellation fee of your entire booked stay; and will be charged against the credit card number provided/held on file. There will be no refund if the booking is shortened for any reason after check-in.
Group booking cancellation policy will be advised and confirmed when the booking is made.
Check-in is from 2pm on the day of arrival and check-out is before 10am on the day of departure.
For early check-in/late check-out please make prior arrangements with management.
No Show: Guests that fail to arrive without any prior explanation to management will be treated as a "No Show" and will liable for the full accommodation charge.
Refunds: A full refund is made when more than 48 hours' cancellation notice is given.
Payment: Final and full payment is required upon check-in
Unpaid accounts will be liable for any collection costs incurred by Aristotles North Shore Motel; and penalty interest of 5% for each day that the account remains overdue will be charged.
Payment Methods: Visa, Mastercard. Payments made by cash and/or Eftpos/Debit Card must be made in advance and a $150 Bond will be required.
Pre-bookings: Pre-booking is recommended during peak seasons.
Arrival Times: Aristotles North Shore Motel holds your room until 2pm, unless notified of a later arrival, when booking is not guaranteed, that is without a credit card. We reserve the right to cancel your reservation without refund or reinstatement, as stated above, to make room for other guests.
Departure Time: All guests must check out before 10am on the day of departure unless prior arrangements have been made with management. If a later departure time is required there will be charge of 1 night's accommodation.
Smoking & Vaping: Strictly prohibited in all Aristotles North Shore Motel rooms and buildings. Smoking & Vaping is only allowed in designated areas and if the smoking policy is breached, 2 nights' full accommodation with the accumulated accommodation accounts, will be charged without reinstatement and the guest may have to arrange other accommodation instantaneously.
Spa: Guests using spa units are welcome to use the spa facility in the rooms from 8am to 9pm; spa bath vibration noise may be unpleasant to the guests in other rooms.
Additional Charges:
· Lost keys: $100 per key/security set
· Dry-Cleaning bedspreads, duvets and valances: $50 per item
· Extra care room cleaning surcharge: $200 per room
· Carpet cleaning: $150 per room
· Damage to rooms: cost of repair to new/replacement and loss of accommodation during repair/replacement
· Breakages: cost of repair to new/replacement and loss of accommodation during repair/replacement
· Missing chattels: cost of replacement and loss of accommodation until replaced
· Lost property returns: arrangement required with management
